During National Water Week Shoalhaven Water also provided the opportunity for the community to tour Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants within the Shoalhaven. With two successful tours undertaken, one in Nowra and one in Ulladulla, the response was very positive with a greater appreciation of the treatment processes. One of the local residents who took advantage of going on the tour wrote to Shoalhaven Water afterward,
“In regards to the treatment plant tour your kindness is appreciated. Thank you very much for this very informative tour which was very interesting indeed.”
Stockland at Nowra came alive with Dripette and Tapdog interacting with the community discussing National Water Week and handing out fridge magnets with the Level One Water Restrictions “do’s and don’t’s which turned out to be very popular.
