About the project

The current projected development yield is 3,400 residential lots. In order to supply adequate future servicing to the URA, Shoalhaven Water is currently progressing Wastewater infrastructure.

Overall Project Highlights:

• Award of design consultants – 2020
• Completion of Moss Vale Road wastewater infrastructure detailed design – December 2021
• Award of wastewater infrastructure construction contractor – December 2021
• Current overall project completion date - August/September 2023

The Works

• Package 1: Moss Vale Road Southern (MVRS) Urban Release Area (URA) Wastewater Infrastructure
• Construction of new sewer pumpstation (SPS) to MVRS
• Construction of new sewer gravity and raising mains
• Package 2: MVR URA – Sewer Pumping Stations
• Construction of new sewer pumping stations to Moss Vale Road Northern (MVRN) Urban Release Area (URA) and Illaroo Road (SPS21)
• Construction of new sewer gravity and rising mains
• Package 3: MVR URA – Pipelines
•  Construction of new sewer gravity and rising mains connecting the MVR URAs to the existing Bomaderry Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP).

February - March 2023 Update

• Package 1: Moss Vale Road Southern (MVRS) Urban Release Area URA Wastewater (WW) Infrastructure
  • MVRS rising main installed
  • MVR Southern URA gravity trunk main installed
  • MVRS sewer pump station (SPS) construction nearing completion
  • Far North Collector Road gravity trunk main construction continuing towards SPS21. 

• Package 2: Moss Vale Road (MVR) – Sewer Pumping Stations (SPS)
  • MVRN SPS access road nearing completion
  • MVRN SPS property settlement completed.
• Package 3: Moss Vale Road (MVR) Urban Release Area (URA) – Pipelines
  • MVRS gravity trunk main installation continued
  • MVRS rising main installed
  • SPS23 rising main diversion ready for connection
  • MVRN rising main installation continues towards Meroo Road
  • MVRN rising main highway under bore works complete
  • MVRN rising main under bore investigation works continue

  • Property settlement completed.
