Register for dialysis assistance

We understand that some of our customers have special needs.

We keep a register of those customers who require large amounts of water to be used at home, especially those who require the use of at-home dialysis machines.

By registering your details as an at-home dialysis customer you will receive the following benefits: 

Notification of water interruptions

• We will notify you as soon as possible in the event of an unplanned water interruption
• We will issue notifications prior to a planned water interruption

Additional assistance

• We will provide you with discounted water usage charges
• We will paint your water meter blue to easily identify your house to allow our operations crews to easily identify your additional needs whilst undertaking repairs in your area
• Shoalhaven City Council will provide an additional 80L red-lid bin, at no further cost, to assist with increased medical waste requirements of at-home dialysis
