Report leaking meters, mains or hydrants

If you have noticed your water meter is dripping let us know so that we can fix it. We also want to know if the ground on your front kerb is wet or boggy as this could be a sign of a leak in your service line, a leak or break in our water main, or a leaking hydrant.

We will fix any part of the service from the street to your meter, free of charge. If you have a leak within your property i.e between the meter and your house, you must contact a plumber.

Before you report the problem, consider whether the wet ground relates to stormwater runoff. What looks like a water break or leak can often be caused by stormwater runoff, especially after a period of rain.  For more information on stormwater, CLICK HERE to go to Shoalhaven City Council's website.
