When building a dual occupancy or adding a granny flat or secondary dwelling where no subdivision is proposed, the following metered service connections are available:
- One (1) additional standard (20mm) metered service (so that each unit/dwelling has its own separate service)
- One (1) 25mm metered service
- 25mm service line with manifold (two (2) x 20mm meters)
When a torrens title subdivision is proposed, a separate standard 20mm meter to each dwelling/unit within the property boundary will be required. Strata, community and neighbourhood title subdivisions need individual meters, but these meters can be configured on a manifold.
The type of metered service connection is usually stated on your water development notice. If you do not have a water development notice, please contact us on (02) 4429 3214.
